ACCOUNT ASSISTANT (CASH BOOK) / (REINSURANCE & CLAIMS)

Job Description

Working Days: Monday to Friday 

Working Hours: 8.45am to 5.30pm 

Location: Jalan Raja Laut, KL

Salary: RM1500 – RM1800

Job Description:

  1. Processing accounts payable transactions
  2. Performing bank reconciliations
  3. Preparing monthly management reports
  4. General administration duties
  1. Prepare monthly aging receivable reports
  2. Reconciliation of premium and claims statement of accounts
  3. Passing journal entries and issuing of payment vouchers.
  4. Processing of claims debit/credits notes, and various technical statement of accounts for submissions
  5. Correspondence/liaise with Reinsurers for any outstanding due
  6. Other ad-hoc tasks as & when required

Job Requirements:

  1. Possess at least a LCCI/Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
  2. Preferably with relevant work experience
  3. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  4. Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
